Command 2277 with UTV 2278 and Utility 2279 with UTV 2276 responded to a search off Tree Loft Circle. Crews made contact with the lost hikers within 35 minutes of arrival. A total of 22 volunteers responded, with the additional personnel staffing Engine 2210 and Rescue 2255 for any other incidents. District 12 and Lehighton ALS also responded.

Earlier this morning, Rescue 2255, Engine 2210, and Command 2277 responded to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment on Route 534. District 12 and Lehighton ALS also responded. Engine 1711 staffed the station for the remainder of the day as volunteers were at a wedding in the afternoon. Special thanks to Lake Harmony Fire for providing assistance.

It was a busy weekend of training for our volunteers. We first would like to congratulate Junior Firefighter Monica Rizzo for successfully completing the first three modules of the Essentials of Firefighting program. The first three modules add up to 104 hours of the 168 hour course that teaches the basics of firefighting.
